Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking a Geostructural Superintendent to lead the on-site delivery of geotechnical and structural works on a major construction project in Asheville, NC. You will ensure safety, quality and programme compliance while coordinating subcontractors and site teams.

The role requires extensive experience in foundations, temporary works, excavation support and heavy civil works, with strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills and a formal civil engineering or related

Qualifications

Experience supervising geotechnical, structural or heavy civil works.
Strong leadership and planning skills on complex infrastructure projects.
Relevant site safety certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily geostructural and structural construction activities, ensuring safety and quality.
Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, plant, materials and suppliers to maintain progress against programme.
Review drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, lifting plans and temporary works requirements.
Monitor excavation, piling, ground improvement, anchoring and concrete works.
Identify technical issues and risks, escalating for timely resolution.
Work with engineers and surveyors to verify setting out, tolerances and completed works.
Complete daily records, progress reports and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
