Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications. You will perform software development with Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript, while maintaining documentation in GitLab and ensuring RMF and STIG alignment.

You will work in a DevSecOps, AGILE team focused on geospatial solutions for Defense and Federal clients. Role requires TS clearance eligibility and US citizenship, with expertise in ArcGIS, OGC standards, and

Qualifications

• Experience integrating security into the GIS development lifecycle.
• Hands-on AGILE software development experience.
• DevOps/DevSecOps workflows experience.
• Experience with Git-based version control tools (GitHub, GitLab).
• Familiarity with DoD RMF and STIG compliance standards.
• Strong collaboration in team-based environments.
• Deep knowledge of GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise, QGIS).

Responsibilities

• Design, customize, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications.
• Develop software using Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Maintain technical documentation and versioning notes in GitLab.
• Implement geospatial data acquisition, preparation, and conversion.
• Support RMF compliance for access controls and system security.
• Manage access roles within ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Configure and troubleshoot OGC web services for interoperability.
• Integrate Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for containers.
• Contribute to AI/ML/DL system support and data management.
• Conduct QA/QC and code reviews; ensure STIG-aligned configuration.
• Analyze requirements and participate in software design best practices.
• Collaborate in a small, agile DevSecOps team.
• Support COTS tools like ENVI, RemoteView, Erdas Imagine, ArcGIS.
