Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is a fast-paced geospatial software company supporting Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients. We seek a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate capabilities across a complex system, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

US citizenship and active clearance path are emphasized. The role focuses on production-ready software across environments, with emphasis on Python, Java, and microservice-based architectures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience developing with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Clojure, Java and JavaScript.
• Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software with logical and mathematical problem solving.
• Experience with Agile-based software development methodologies and rapid prototyping.
• GEOINT/SIGINT/IMINT domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, testing and integration of new capabilities from an idea to production across a complex system.
• Integrate capabilities from different systems across the enterprise while meeting users and stakeholders’ needs.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint and release planning with team members to accomplish user stories.
• Write or contribute to documentation and end-user instructions/manuals, as necessary.
