NV5 is seeking a Geospatial Project Manager to lead complex geospatial projects from initiation through closeout, coordinating cross-functional teams and serving as the primary client contact. This role requires delivering on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

The position offers flexible location options—NV5's Portland, OR office or remote work—with occasional travel under 20%. Candidates should have a bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years PM experience in GIS/mapping.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in GIS/mapping or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing project schedules, work breakdown structures, and Gantt charts.

Aufgaben

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
• Serve as primary client-facing representative for project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to maximize performance and efficiency.
• Develop project charters, schedules, and comprehensive plans; refine scope and success criteria.
• Refine budgets with cross-functional teams and monitor costs.
• Direct and manage project tasks with alignment to approved plans and timelines.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders; provide regular status reporting.
• Identify risks, manage changes, and maintain accurate project data in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely invoicing and minimize WIP.
• Support pre-sales through project planning, risk assessment, and contract review.
• Contribute to PMO improvements and drive operational efficiency.
