Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Geospatial Project Manager in Portland, OR, with flexibility for hybrid work and occasional travel. You will lead complex geospatial projects from planning through delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance while fostering strong client relationships.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, refine scope and plans, and contribute to PMO improvements. A GIS/mapping background and PMP (preferred) will help drive successful outcomes for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in GIS/mapping.
• Experience managing complex projects from initiation through completion.
• Proficiency with project schedules, WBS, and Gantt charts.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
• Serve as primary client-facing representative for project execution.
• Ensure projects meet time, scope, and budget targets; manage cross-functional teams.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Support PMO process improvements and best practices.
