Job summary

Amentum seeks a GEODS Product Manager to oversee product development from conception through deployment, guiding Scrum Masters and developers, and sustaining a robust backlog and roadmap for the GEODS program.

You will bridge government and Scrum teams, supervise the development team, coordinate with test, integration and operations, and lead backlog prioritization, requirements development, and project execution to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Clear communication of complex technical challenges in writing and speech.
• Experience supervising a team of developers/engineers delivering new software interfaces.
• Experience as Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Experience with SAFe or similar Agile methodologies.
• Experience with UI/UX testing and prioritization feedback.

Responsibilities

• Bridge government and Scrum teams to execute the GEODS program vision.
• Prioritize backlog and manage Jira backlog with feedback.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for developers.
• Review and accept completed work against acceptance criteria.
• Oversee projects to ensure on-time completion and report progress (CDRLs, KPIs).
