Job summary

ASRC NetCentric Technology, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a full-time Geospatial Engineer to support our government customer at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. This on-site position requires all work to be performed on location.

Responsibilities include maintaining ArcGIS Pro workflows, updating building and civil utility infrastructure data, and supporting FIAR compliance through data stewardship.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in Geographic Information System, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Two years’ experience with geographic information systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain building and civil utility infrastructure mapping per Entity Specification Directives (ESD).
• Work with licensed land surveyor; interpret land survey data for GeoBase entry.
• Deploy automated data tools for bulk updates and reconcile real property data within APSR.
• Provide maps and data tables; interpret construction drawings and survey notes to update GIS data.
• Support Community Planner in developing the Basic Information Guide (BIG).
• Assist coordination with Air Force Civil Engineering and safety organizations on LINE OF SIGHT, Quantity Distance, and Airfield Waiver information.
• Assist area development plan tasks, segmentation, and facility programming with maps and related characteristics.
