Job summary

ASRC Federal NetCentric is hiring a Civil Engineering Technician at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station to create, revise and maintain CADD drawings in support of contract requirements and to assist GIS engineers in geospatial data collection.

The role involves interpreting plans, supporting facility utilization surveys, and coordinating with facility users and government customers to determine optimal use of space, while ensuring data quality and field data collection as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans, specifications and contract documents with facility users, subcontractors or vendors.
• Perform facility utilization surveys under supervision.
• Update and maintain CADD files, tables, and charts.
• Assist in field data gathering for utility system modeling and hurricane prep.
