ASRC Federal NetCentric is seeking a Community Planner at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station to support site planning, airfield waivers, and land use development. The role emphasizes GIS/CAD work, data presentation to stakeholders, and collaboration with base teams on future infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning or Urban Development or two years related experience.
• Knowledge of GIS/CAD and MS Office; web-based databases experience is a plus.
• Florida driver’s license required; security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist community planning tasks including site planning and development of land use plans.
• Develop siting projects using GIS within base criteria and update lines of sight.
• Coordinate with airfield managers to validate requirements for waivers.
• Provide GIS updates and support for future capital projects.
• Contribute to Basic Information Guide (BIG) for Cape Canaveral SFS and annexes.
• Support hurricane preparation and recovery activities as needed.
