Job summary

Vantor is seeking a GIS DevOps Engineer to build scalable geospatial services, ingesting and querying data at scale. You will design and operate Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters across cloud/on‑prem environments and contribute to CI/CD and IaC pipelines.

U.S. citizen with TS/SCI w/ CI poly is required; 4+ years in a technical role; location in Herndon, VA or St. Louis, MO with SCIF‑level on‑site support.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with active CI poly or willing to obtain.
4+ years in a technical/DevOps role.
Experience with Kubernetes in production environments and OpenShift.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud/on‑preminises.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized apps.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
Monitor performance, availability and security; respond to incidents.
Develop tooling, automation, and self‑service capabilities.
Collaborate with dev, security, and operations teams for reliability.
Ensure compliance with security/governance standards.
Communicate with distributed SAFe Agile teams; convey technical concepts clearly.
