Job summary

Vantor in Herndon, VA seeks a seasoned full-stack software engineer to support geospatial intelligence workflows. You will handle ELT, data processing, and analytics using cloud-based processing and emerging AI/ML techniques.

Candidates must hold US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's in CS or related fields, 5+ years in software development, and experience with Python/Java/Go/Rust and AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software development (design, development, implementation).
• Proficiency in at least one multiparadigm language (Python/Java/Go/Rust).
• Experience with data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and analysis of large datasets.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud architectures (AWS, C2S).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.
• Involved in all stages of the development lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
• Apply software standards to produce high-quality, extensible software.
• Work with cloud stacks to perform data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
