Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Geospatial Data Management Specialist to support a federal client in Colorado. The role encompasses data collection, management of natural resource inventory and monitoring data, development of mobile applications, and maintenance of spatial databases, along with data transformation, publishing, and responding to data requests.

Work settings offer flexibility with remote options; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with geospatial data collection and management.
• Proficiency with Esri GIS software.
• Experience with offline/mobile workflows.
• Ability to develop technical documentation (metadata, user guides, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality and usability of geospatial data.
• Support QA/QC procedures for datasets.
• Document data integrity and metadata to meet standards.
• Develop data reports and tools for decision making.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and support GIS software.
• Manage data in web environments (e.g., AGOL).
• Create cartographic products and publish data.
