Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Data Specialist to support the collection, processing, management, and delivery of geospatial data for transportation, aviation, government, and infrastructure projects.

The role involves converting raw survey, mobile mapping, UAS, LiDAR, imagery, and GIS data into client-ready deliverables, working with surveyors, engineers, GIS professionals, and project managers.

Competenze

• 2-5 years of experience processing geospatial, survey, reality capture, or related datasets.
• Experience with large geospatial datasets and managing project file structures.
• Understanding of coordinate systems, map projections, datums, and geospatial accuracy requirements.
• Experience performing data quality control and validation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.

Mansioni

• Process survey, GNSS, mobile mapping, UAS, LiDAR, imagery, and other geospatial datasets to support project delivery.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Generate deliverables including point clouds, orthomosaics, DTMs/DSMs, contours, and mapping products.
• Import, organize, manage, archive, and maintain project data and documentation.
• Support survey control processing, network adjustments, coordinate system management, and workflows.
• Process reality capture datasets from mobile mapping systems, UAS, and terrestrial scanning technologies.
• Assist project teams with data preparation, feature extraction, visualization, and deliverable development.
• Develop and maintain standardized processing workflows and templates.
• Troubleshoot data quality, processing, and software-related issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve geospatial workflows and efficiency.
• Maintain awareness of emerging geospatial technologies and trends.
