Hanson Professional Services Inc. seeks a Geospatial Data Specialist to collect, process, manage, and deliver geospatial data for a range of projects including transportation and infrastructure.

You will convert raw survey, mobile mapping, UAS, LiDAR, imagery, and GIS data into client-ready products. Collaborating with surveyors, engineers, GIS professionals, technicians, and project managers, you’ll help produce high-quality geospatial outputs while expanding Hanson’s capabilities in reality

Competenze

• 2-5 years of experience processing geospatial, survey, reality capture, or related datasets.
• Experience with large geospatial datasets and project file management.
• Understanding of coordinate systems, map projections, datums, and geospatial accuracy requirements.
• Experience performing data quality control and validation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Process geospatial datasets (survey, GNSS, mobile mapping, UAS, LiDAR, imagery) for project delivery.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Generate deliverables such as point clouds, orthomosaics, DTMs/DSMs, contours, and mapping products.
• Import, organize, manage, archive, and maintain project data and documentation.
• Support survey control processing, network adjustments, coordinate system management, and workflows.
• Manage reality capture datasets from mobile mapping, UAS, and terrestrial scanning.
• Assist teams with data preparation, analysis, feature extraction, visualization, and deliverable development.
• Develop and maintain standardized processing workflows, templates, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot data quality, processing, and software issues.
• Collaborate to improve geospatial workflows and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging geospatial technologies and trends.
