Job summary

Travelers offers a BI&ALDP internship designed for analytically driven students who will engage in real work, tackle business problems, and be evaluated like professionals from day one. The program embeds you in Travelers’ data and analytics community for over 10 weeks.

You will receive technical training from current participants, experiences with cross-enterprise collaboration, and leadership exposure through internal events. Housing options are available in Hartford, CT and St.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• GPA 3.2+ preferred.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and GIS mapping software.
• Comfortable with Python.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL using Python, SQL, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data lakes; Databricks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Real project work aligned to active business needs across Travelers’ analytics functions.
• Technical training taught by BI&ALDP participants.
• Formal performance reviews with structured feedback on growth.
• Leadership exposure through Intern Symposium and enterprise-wide activities.
• Collaborative capstone presentation developing and presenting analytics solutions.
• Apply AI tools with attention to quality and accuracy of outputs.
• Potential to interview for a full-time role after the internship.
