Qualifications

• Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• Data warehouse and ETL understanding with Python, SQL, and/or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data lakes and/or experience with Databricks.
• Exposure to dashboarding, scorecards or other descriptive reporting tools.
• Knowledge of multidimensional data and open-source cloud-enabled analytical programming languages.
• Familiarity with agile concepts & workflows.

Responsibilities

• Real project work aligned to active business needs across Travelers' analytics functions.
• Technical training taught by full-time BI&ALDP participants.
• Formal performance reviews that give you honest, structured feedback on your growth.
• Leadership exposure through company-wide events including the Intern Symposium and community outreach initiatives, where you will interact with leaders and a cohort across the enterprise.
• A collaborative capstone presentation where you and your fellow interns develop and present solutions to relevant business and analytics challenges.
• Leverage modern analytical and artificial intelligence (AI) tools/platforms with the ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate limitations related to quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs.
• At the close of the internship, high performing interns are eligible to interview for a full-time offer to join the BI&ALDP - making these 10 weeks one of the most important career opportunities of your academic journey.
