Job summary

EDM International, Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Business Analyst I to bridge clients and EDM’s GIS teams, transforming business needs into geospatial solutions.

You will document workflows and system requirements for Vegetation Management and Line Patrol offerings and support the full project lifecycle. You will collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and project managers to deliver practical geospatial applications in a client-facing setting, with opportunities to influence solution design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in GIS or related field is preferred.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support customer discovery sessions and workshops to identify requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes and workflows, current and future state.
• Translate requirements into functional design materials for GIS teams.
• Develop design artifacts such as user stories, use cases, and test criteria.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, rollout strategies, and training activities.
