Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking a driven Big Data Analyst to evaluate datasets and inform government decision making. You will shape data engineering approaches and collaborate with software developers to implement analytical capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years of data analytics experience, a TS/SCI clearance, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. On-site work in Herndon, VA, with Springfield, VA as needed, offers a fast-paced environment and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Must have an active TS/SCI and be willing to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field; equivalent work experience allowed.
• At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Ability to formulate repeatable data evaluation processes and communicate findings.
• In-depth knowledge of data types, including telemetry and telecom protocol data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong time management and multi-tasking ability.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with engineers.
• Experience providing feedback to software engineers on implementations.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark.
• Willing to work on-site in Herndon, VA, with Springfield, VA as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing and developing dataset evaluations and assessments to inform government decision making.
• Shaping data engineering approaches for analytic tradecraft improvements within applications.
• Identifying and documenting gaps within data corpus and analytical capabilities.
• Collaborating with software developers to field requirements and feedback as changes are implemented.
• Providing SME support to end-users for data or application questions.
