Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking a Big Data Analyst to join onsite in Herndon, VA.

The role focuses on evaluating datasets and analytics to support government decision-making, and involves shaping data engineering approaches to improve analytic tradecraft. The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in data analytics, and strong communication skills, with experience in Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark and related tools.

Qualifications

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or similar role.
• Experience formulating a repeatable process for data evaluations and communicating findings to government officials.
• In-depth knowledge of technical data types, including Technical Telemetry Data and other telecommunication protocol data types (cellular and Wi-Fi).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark, or similar.
• Ability to work onsite in Herndon, VA, with ability to work in Springfield, VA as needed.

Preferred / What We Would Like to See

• Ability to translate technical conclusions and present them to a broader audience.
• Experience conducting geospatial analysis including Activity-Based Intelligence or Pattern of Life analysis.
• Experience applying, improving, and documenting innovative analytic methodologies while keeping them up to date.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/Kibana.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Familiarity with Gitlab and the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or Apache Zepplin.
• Experience working with other intel analysts and/or special operations customers.

Compensation

• USD 130,000 - 190,000 per year
