Job summary

CCBC Catonsville Campus is seeking adjunct faculty to teach day or evening college credit courses in Geography/Geospatial Applications. You will prepare and deliver course materials, follow outlines and policies, grade and provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate classroom records and attend required training and professional development sessions.

Adjunct Level 1 pays $1,085 per credit hour. Candidates should hold a Geography/Remote Sensing/GIS degree with 2 years in geospatial

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience using esri ArcGIS Desktop Suite and ArcGIS Online, ERDAS Imagine, and Trimble GPS equipment and software.
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Experience conducting training or teaching preferred
  • Experience with open source GIS is preferred
  • GISP Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Adjunct faculty to teach day or evening college credit course on the Catonsville Campus.

Adjunct faculty to teach day or evening college credit course onthe Catonsville Campus. Adjunct faculty prepare and deliver coursematerial, follow common course outlines and instruction policies,grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely andperiodic feedback to students, keep and submit accurate classroomrecords and attend required training and professional developmentsessions.

Minimum Requirements

The Roth 403(b) savings feature allowsemployees to contribute after-tax dollars and then withdrawtax-free dollars from their account upon retirement. The Roth403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors:TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, PartTime Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save forretirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees maycontribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b)post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combinedfor the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
