Job summary

State of Michigan DTMB in Lansing, MI is seeking an Application Developer Specialist for geospatial data management supporting MDOT IT applications. You will provide technical leadership across analysis, design, creation, integration, migration, and maintenance of geospatial data.

Responsibilities include guiding and mentoring team members, coordinating with Data Architects and DBAs, and directing projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.

Responsibilities

Lead application development projects and provide technical leadership for geospatial data management.
Coordinate with Data Architects and Database Administrators on data requirements.
Guide and mentor team members; manage lifecycle activities across development projects.
