MSGIC seeks a Geospatial Application Developer to serve as a technical lead for modern, web-based GIS solutions used in Maryland. The role emphasizes design, development, and maintenance of GIS applications, ensuring accessibility per Maryland standards and governance of spatial data in an enterprise SQL Server environment.

The candidate will conduct advanced geospatial analyses with Python and SQL, review outputs, and embed results into interactive dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Experience performing advanced geospatial analyses within a SQL Server environment.
• Ability to design, develop, enhance and maintain web-based GIS solutions with accessibility compliance.
• Experience embedding analytical outputs into dynamic web tools, dashboards and visualizations.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as technical lead for GIS web solutions and applications.
• Perform advanced spatial analyses using Python and SQL; validate methods and outputs.
• Lead data policy, metadata standards and lifecycle management for enterprise GIS.
