Job summary

The State of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is hiring a senior business analyst to support the MDOT portfolio. You will analyze complex business processes, capture and manage requirements, and coordinate with developers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Based in Lansing with a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office per week), you will lead requirements sessions, support UAT, and author user documentation while acting as a client liaison on system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in one or a combination of: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
Two years of professional IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst experience at P11 level.
Possession of any required IT certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex business processes and develop detailed business process flows.
Gather and manage business requirements and facilitate sessions with stakeholders.
Trace and validate requirements and assist in UAT and user documentation.
Serve as the client liaison on system requirements and application issues.
