Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, part of the PPL Corporation family, seeks a GIS professional to advance geospatial data applications across IT Telecom, Generation, and Environmental teams.

You will design models, manage geospatial records in Esri ArcGIS, and participate in capital and maintenance projects, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience for GIS Specialist II.
• 5+ years of experience for GIS Specialist Sr.

Responsibilities

• Acts as business and technical expert for geospatial data, apps and work processes.
• Participate in Capital and O&M project development and implementation.
• Design, build, and implement geospatial models to support operations.
• Utilize geospatial records to direct spatial analysis for planning and outages.
• Manage Esri portal and develop custom geospatial web content.
• Assist with training and create training material for geospatial tools.
