Job summary
Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid Geospatial Analyst to support a federal government client. The role focuses on advanced geospatial analysis, terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity, leveraging ArcGIS and QGIS. Availability is contingent upon contract award.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of experience in geospatial analysis, and the GEOINT GA-II certification or equivalent, with TS/SCI clearance preferred. Maryland/Virginia NCR region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in geospatial sciences or a related field.
- GA-II GEOINT Certification or equivalent preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in geospatial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conducts geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and people using geospatial tools.
- Integrates geospatial data into analytic workflows and models.
- Analyzes spatial-temporal data with GIS like ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Leads geospatial expertise as primary POC on the contract.
- Develops algorithms to analyze large data sets beyond RAM.
