Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an outside sales professional in Georgia to identify, evaluate, and purchase ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You will work with Regional and General Managers to grow volumes and accounts across the Georgia region.

The role requires initiative, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Office and outdoor yard environments are part of the work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal industry and logistics techniques.
• Prior experience in ferrous and non-ferrous buying preferred.
• Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Independent worker with team collaboration.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Willing to work in office and outdoor yard environments.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure scrap metals to meet volume and profitability targets.
• Generate new leads and develop plans for new business sources.
• Analyze market trends to inform competitive purchase decisions.
• Conduct regular sales calls and visit supplier sites.
• Maintain relationships with demolition contractors, dealers, auto wreckers, and industrial accounts.
• Resolve supplier complaints and document actions.
• Submit monthly reports and participate in reviews.
