Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an experienced Commercial Scrap Metal Buyer to support the Georgia Region, including North Atlanta, Gwinnett, Cartersville, and Gainesville locations. You will manage a book of Commercial, Industrial, and Dealer accounts for both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials, negotiating pricing and service agreements to increase volume and profitability.

Qualifications

Associate/Bachelor preferred in Sales, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4 years Buyer experience in the scrap metals recycling industry.
Strong contract negotiation and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals to grow margins, volume, and market share.
Identify and secure new commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts.
Purchase according to market conditions and pricing models set by leadership.
Visit suppliers regularly to strengthen relationships and monitor market conditions.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in purchasing and processing materials.
Maintain accurate records of purchasing, sourcing, and follow-up activities.
Collaborate with facility General Managers to meet volume and pricing targets.
