Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Commercial Scrap Metal Buyer to expand the Georgia region, managing commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. You will negotiate pricing, build lasting relationships, and drive profitability while aligning with regional sales goals.

Responsibilities include identifying new business, visiting suppliers, and ensuring compliance with market conditions and pricing targets with the General Manager and National Sales Team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, Bachelors preferred, related to Sales, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; or 4 years Buyer (Account Management) experience in the scrap metals recycling industry.
• Strong contract negotiation and interpersonal skills required.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals to grow margins, volume, and market share.
• Identify and secure new commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts.
• Purchase materials following market conditions and pricing models.
• Conduct supplier visits and sales activities to strengthen relationships.
