Job summary

The Conlan Company in Marietta, GA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in daily management, scheduling, budgeting, bidding, and contract administration. You will help meet time and cost objectives across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include planning, resource identification, tracking RFIs/submittals, and maintaining project records. Travel up to 50% and in-person work at the corporate office are expected.

Qualifications

• College degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of design and construction matters.
• Proficient in plan take-off and MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Understand and assist in the implementation of project goals.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting and resource identification.
• Expedite and ensure on-time delivery of project components and trades.
• Prepare, expedite, and monitor logs for RFIs and submittals.
• Monitor and evaluate construction progress and trade performance.
• Approve submittals from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Assist with Owner Change Order Requests and Logs.
• Maintain a complete set of as-built documents.
• Provide technical research support to the project team.
• Execute all steps for timely project close-out.
• Communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships within the project team.
• Support SAFETY culture at all times.
