Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, INC. seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join our Atlanta, GA office. Travel in and out of GA is required.

You will assist in planning, budgeting and coordinating with clients, vendors and the project team to meet milestones and quality goals. Responsibilities include preparing estimates, tracking progress, managing documentation, and supporting safety and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing industrial construction projects up to $1M.
• 3+ years of client relationship and business development experience, including bids.
• Proven leadership, process adherence, and risk management.
• Knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Promotes core values and safety culture daily.
• Plan, develop and oversee site projects with PM and team.
• Prepare estimates and invoices; track project progress.
• Research project information to support the team.
• Update project schedules, budgets and spending.
• Assist with cost management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Use scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders, and contracts to process scope changes.
• Develop relationships to identify opportunities.
• Plan and schedule resources to meet demands.
• Assist with drawings, specs and calculations; ensure code compliance.
• Ensure equipment and personnel comply with SIC policies and regulations.
• Support SIC safety program and promote Safety-First mindset.
• Provide regular updates to PMs / Upper Management.
• Travel to jobsites regularly.
• Other duties and projects.
• Promote core values daily.
