Base pay range

$26,449.00/yr - $45,343.00/yr

Summary

Qualifications:

• Must pass background check, follow rules, regulations, and company procedures, and be 18 years of age.
• Must have one of the following valid and current certificates or credentials approved by Bright from the Start: Georgia Teacher Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Birth through Five endorsement, Special Education General Curriculum, or equivalent out-of-state, valid, and current official teaching certificates in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education or related field.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate or higher.
• CPR and 1st Aid Certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Must meet state in-service training and GA Pre-K Training requirements.
• Positive, cheerful, dependable, and people-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the classroom.
• Provide personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline for children.
• Maintain classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.
• Plan and implement activities to promote social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
• Communicate with parents about children's progress.
• Notify Director or parents about potential issues.

Requirements

• Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older, unless holding a valid Bachelor degree or higher teaching credential.
• Meet state background check requirements.
• Education: Two Year Degree, Four Year Degree, or Master's Degree with T4 or T5 Certification.

Benefits

Salary based on Georgia Pre-k 2022-2023 Reimbursement Rates, ranging from $26,449 to $45,343, plus experience compensation up to $15,000/year, paid over 10 months.
