Job summary

HDR seeks a Geomatics & Remote Sensing Area Business Class Lead to manage the Missouri/Kansas team, ensuring quality delivery and growth across infrastructure markets. You will oversee staff, projects, and business development, aligning with HDR’s strategic plans.

You will coordinate with operations, marketing and project management, participate in QA/QC, and actively pursue new work while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience in geomatics/remote sensing or related field.
• Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for area coordination, monitoring and improvement of staff and products of the Geomatics & Remote Sensing teams in Missouri and Kansas to meet client needs and market drivers, all within direction and goals of business class plans.
• Participate in delivery of project services to meet client expectations.
• Collaborate on Geomatics & Remote Sensing business class efforts with area operations, marketing and project management.
• Participate in practice groups, project teams and activities to improve standards and QA/QC.
• Serve as a seller-doer with responsibility to pursue and win work and maintain profitable utilization.
