Diversified Energy Company is seeking a Geology Intern to support the Subsurface team across Texas and New Mexico. You will gain hands-on experience in reservoir characterization, wellbore analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration with engineers and data specialists.

The role emphasizes mapping, data management in Petra and ArcGIS Pro, and contributing to practical evaluations of remaining reserves and potential gas storage concepts.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Science, or related field.
• Strong interest in reservoir characterization and applied subsurface geology.
• Ability to work with log data, production history, and mapping software.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic data management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist subsurface team by evaluating wellbore utilization and reservoir potential in TX/NM.
• Create structure, isopach, net pay, and reservoir quality maps from logs and production data.
• Organize and maintain Petra projects for assigned fields.
• Collaborate with reservoir and production engineers and cross-functional teams.
