Job summary

Permian Resources invites college students to join a paid summer Geology Internship in Midland, Texas. You will work with geologists, reservoir and geoscience specialists on data integration, mapping, log analysis, and play fairway studies to support asset understanding.

Each intern is paired with a manager and mentor, participates in training, field tours, networking with executives, and presents a final project that showcases learnings from assignments and experiences.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed degree in Geosciences or related field.
• Sophomore through graduate student; available May 2027.
• 12 weeks minimum internship availability.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir and geoscience specialists to integrate data sets.
• Perform advanced mapping, log analysis and play fairway analyses.
• Integrate seismic and public data into reservoir models and geologic understanding.
• Contribute to team projects in a fast-paced environment.
