Role Impact

The Geologist II/III/Sr will analyze geologic, petrophysical, and geophysical data, maintain geologic models, support geologic operations, permitting activities, well planning, and Asset Performance projects. Collaborates with the Geology team for data management, analysis, and guiding well performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed geologic prognoses for well planning and permitting
• Create and maintain cross sections, reservoir maps, and geologic layers using Geographix or Kingdom
• Conduct evaluations to optimize operational performance and asset development
• Serve as the primary geology contact for operations and geosteering support
• Work under supervision but exercise independent judgment

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of oil and gas geology experience
• Bachelor's in Geology or related field; Master's preferred
• Proficiency in geologic software (Geographix, Kingdom)
• Strong understanding of geologic operations and petrophysics
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in Spotfire or PowerBi
• Knowledge of modern tools (Python, R, SQL) is a plus
