Here is how the Geologist II/III/Sr will impact our business:

This role conducts analysis of geologic, petrophysical, and geophysical data. Maintains geologic models to support geologic operations, permitting activities, well planning, and Asset Performance projects. Works with other members of the Geology team to support ongoing data management, analysis for election recommendations, and guides well performance expectations.

The Geologist responsibilities include but arenot limited to:

  • Develop detailed geologic prognoses to support well planning and permitting activities
  • Create and maintain cross sections, reservoir maps, and geologic layers using Geographix or Kingdom
  • Conduct geologic evaluations to optimize operational performance and asset development
  • Acts as primary geology contact for geologic operations and supports geosteering operations
  • Works under immediate supervision, but capable of exercising independent judgment

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5 + years of related oil and gas geology experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field required. Master's degree in Geology or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in geologic interpretation software (e.g. Geographix, Kingdom)
  • Strong understanding of geologic operations, petrophysical in geophysical workflows
  • Effective communication skills and ability to convey complex data to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline team
  • Proficiency in Spotfire or PowerBi

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.
