Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology or related field.
• 1-2 years of directly related experience required.
• Preferred: Master’s degree with 1+ years or bachelor’s with 3+ years of direct experience.
• Understanding of Chemostratigraphy is preferred.
• Experience with various XRF instrumentation and XRF software.
• Experience in petrophysical well logs.
• Experience using Python, Anaconda, and/or Spyder.
• WellCAD users a plus.
• Previous research and development in XRF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and conducts XRF analysis on geological samples.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and interprets XRF data.
• Prepare technical reports for clients by integrating geological data.
• Interface with clients to discuss analytical results or set up projects.
• Maintain active involvement in professional/industry associations to stay updated.
