Job summary

Roux Consulting is seeking a Staff Geologist/Scientist I to join our Houston team for field support and technical assistance on environmental investigation and remediation projects.

Ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, have 0–2 years of experience, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with keen analytical skills. You will assist with data tables, soil boring logs, and figures while coordinating with subcontractors and project staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience typical.
• Ability to safely perform routine field activities including sampling techniques and overseeing subcontractors.
• Exhibits strong work ethic, positive attitude, and general enthusiasm for the work.
• Entry level data evaluation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in preparation and review of data tables, soil boring logs, figures and other components of technical reports.
• Provide field support and technical assistance on environmental investigation and remediation projects.
