Job summary

SLR Consulting (US) seeks an entry-level Staff Geologist to join our Bothell, WA team. The role involves field work for Phase II ESAs, overseeing drilling and monitoring wells, and supporting remediation projects.

You will interact with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors while building hands-on experience across multiple disciplines. We offer growth opportunities within a dynamic, international environmental consulting organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience with soil and groundwater assessment and remediation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel and perform fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) with soil, groundwater, and/or soil-vapor sampling.
• Contractor/driller oversight for monitoring well installation, soil excavation, and building demolition.
• Coordinate long-term groundwater monitoring programs (quarterly events).
• Assist with permits and public utility locate requests for environmental construction tasks.
• Provide construction oversight on remediation projects and O&M of remediation systems.
• Assist in data interpretation and prepare site work plans, figures, and technical reports.
