Job summary

LVI Associates in Seattle seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer, Scientist or Geologist with a strong background in remediation, site investigation, and cleanup implementation. You will lead technical efforts, manage projects, and coordinate with clients across public and private sectors.

The role blends office and field responsibilities, including ESAs, RI/FS, design, field oversight, and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, site investigation, and oversight.
• Strong understanding of state and federal environmental regulations and remediation frameworks.
• Experience managing complex projects from characterization through remedial design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical reports and ESAs, RI/FS, remedial action plans, design docs, and closure documents.
• Develop or support engineering calculations, cost estimates, design reports, and construction packages.
• Manage projects including scheduling, budgeting, client communication, subcontractor oversight, and team coordination.
• Plan and oversee field investigations and monitoring programs for soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and vapor media.
• Direct field teams, laboratories, and subcontractors ensuring QA and regulatory compliance.
• Support business development through proposals, client relationships, and teaming with partners.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
