Job summary

Stantec’s Great Lakes Environmental Services team is seeking a Geologist/Environmental Engineer with at least 1 year of environmental field and office experience. You will contribute to due diligence, brownfield revitalization, and regulatory compliance in Wisconsin.

Based in Wisconsin offices such as Mequon or Green Bay, the role involves field work, site assessments, data interpretation, and collaboration with clients and regulators to advance redevelopment projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Professional licensure (GIT or EIT) desired.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Brownfield and/or property redevelopment projects in field and office.
• Lead field crews, perform environmental monitoring or site reconnaissance.
• Prepare Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and related deliverables.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and regulatory agencies.
• Assist with grant applications to fund environmental projects.
