Job summary

Stantec’s Great Lakes Environmental Services team in Wisconsin is seeking a Geologist/Environmental Engineer with 1+ year of relevant experience. This role focuses on environmental due diligence, Brownfield redevelopment, and grant-funded projects, primarily in Wisconsin with some out-of-state opportunities.

You’ll perform Phase I and II ESAs, prepare reports, and support field activities while collaborating with regulators, landowners, and clients to advance redevelopment and public benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering.
• 1+ year of environmental consulting experience.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Able to travel for field work and coordinate with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and remedial planning.
• Coordinate field crews and subs contractors during site visits.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Support grant applications for redevelopment projects.
• Participate in project planning and regulatory interactions.
