Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Wisconsin seeks a Geologist/Environmental Engineer to join our Great Lakes Environmental Services team. The role emphasizes due diligence, Brownfield revitalization, and environmental assessment, with a strong interest in community revitalization.

This position focuses on field and office work, potential travel, and collaboration with clients and regulators on grant-funded projects across Wisconsin and adjacent states.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in environmental consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• GIT or EIT licensure is preferred; HAZWOPER certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Brownfield and property redevelopment projects in the field and office. Periodic travel/field work may be required to lead field crews and meet with clients/regulators.
• Prepare Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Work Plans, Sampling and Analysis Plans, Site Investigation reports, and Remedial Action Planning documents.
• Participate in workplan preparation, including development of conceptual site models.
• Analyze and interpret environmental data.
• Coordinate subcontractors (analytical labs, private locators, geophysical contractors, environmental drillers, and disposal contractors) and perform office tasks.
• Assist with preparing grant applications to fund environmental projects for redevelopment.
