Job summary

PotomacWave is seeking a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Departmental Requirements Officer to support a Federal client in Washington, DC. The role focuses on planning and executing integrated GEOINT collection campaigns using national and theater assets for nuclear and energy-related targets worldwide.

Responsibilities include writing GEOINT collection requirements, managing GEOINT systems, and coordinating with IC colleagues.

Qualifications

• Eight years of GEOINT collection management and/or analysis at tactical, strategic, or national levels.
• Strong technical background in GEOINT tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination.
• Experience with GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) and a wide array of GEOINT NTMs and systems.
• Knowledge of theater/national collection platforms and ISR integration strategies.
• Understanding advanced technical collection planning concepts, laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Ability to provide hands-on instruction to federal analysts on GEOINT products and tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree; polygraph may be required; active TS clearance or DOE Q.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and submit GEOINT collection requirements.
• Provide expert GEOINT collection management and requirements analysis.
• Develop and present intelligence collection management strategies.
• Collaborate with other collection managers across the IC.
• Coordinate client GEOINT requirements within S/C subcommittee structures.
• Review and assess current intelligence tools and procedures.
• Use GEOINT databases and query tools to develop reports.
• Populate national and local GEOINT databases and pages.
• Conduct strategic collection planning and assessments of GEOINT collection effectiveness.
• Monitor current intelligence of specified targets.
