Job summary

LV8D Solutions LLC seeks a GEOINT Ground Systems Thread Engineer in Chantilly, VA. You will ensure GEOINT ground capabilities work coherently across programs, contractors, and government leads, baselining new capabilities and shaping architectural decisions.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly is required. You will engage with Government leads, SETA teammates, and development contractors to drive readiness of mission-critical ground services in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with GEOINT ground processing capabilities is required.
• Understanding of space/ground architectures and mission processing is preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and deliver engineering products with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end engineering and analysis across GEOINT ground mission threads from collection to delivery.
• Define and baseline GEOINT ground capabilities, including requirements and interfaces.
• Provide technical oversight of contractor development and verification activities.
• Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for throughput and resiliency.
• Support technical reviews, tests, and enterprise integration activities.
• Maintain cognizance of baselines, schedules, risks, and costs across the Ground Enterprise.
• Conduct trade studies and shape future GEOINT ground architectures and cloud-native designs.
• Review contractor proposals and program plans for feasibility and alignment with priorities.
• Coordinate with Government, SETA, FFRDC, and contractor teams on performance standards.
