Job summary

LV8D Solutions, LLC is seeking a GEOINT Ground Systems Thread Engineer to ensure coherent GEOINT ground capabilities across programs. You will baseline new capabilities, shape architectural decisions, and work with Government leads and contractors to ensure readiness of mission-critical ground services. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 9+ years of experience, or Master's 7+ years, or PhD/JD 4+ years.
• 2+ years of GEOINT ground processing capabilities.
• Experience with GEOINT systems, space/ground architectures, mission control and processing.
• Knowledge of IC/DoD acquisition processes and program management.
• Domain knowledge in ground software, space development or mission operations.
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community programs.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and oral communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end engineering across GEOINT ground mission threads from tasking to delivery.
• Decompose and baseline GEOINT ground capabilities including requirements and interfaces.
• Provide technical oversight of contractor development and verification activities.
• Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for throughput and resilience.
• Support technical reviews and readiness milestones for enterprise integration.
• Maintain awareness of baselines, schedules, risks, and cost drivers.
• Conduct trade studies and shape future GEOINT ground architectures, including cloud-native designs.
• Evaluate impacts to cost, schedule and risk and propose mitigations.
• Review contractor proposals, reports, and plans for feasibility and alignment.
• Coordinate with Government, SETA, FFRDC and contractor teams on priorities.
