Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to support enterprise-level GEOINT systems for federal customers. The role emphasizes data architecture, ETL processes, and large-scale geospatial integration, with an active TS/SCI clearance required.

You will design, implement, and maintain complex data pipelines and architectures to support mission-critical GEOINT operations, advise on GIS strategies, and help align program stakeholders across NSG and DoD.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree: 5-7 years of related field experience.
Master of Science degree: 3-5 years of related field experience.
PhD: 0-2 years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

Assess enterprise geospatial technologies, workflows, and products across NSG.
Contribute to the Enterprise GIS Strategy and implement strategic initiatives.
Monitor resource allocations and perform resource tracking.
Perform full spectrum of systems engineering to implement an efficient architecture.
Document NAVOCEANO and FNMOC-specific architecture views.
Document production processes with performance metrics.
Identify performance concerns and propose solutions.
Propose infrastructure changes aligning with approved architecture.
Support transition to Intelligence Community IT Enterprise.
Assist life cycle, configuration, and change management.
Advise on strategic program evolution with IT roadmaps.
Attend forums as required by the COR.
