Job summary
Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a staff geotechnical design engineer focused on foundation design and geo-structural analysis for large energy projects across North America. You will perform pre-construction investigations, modeling, and design document development under Professional Engineer supervision, collaborating across civil, structural, and construction teams.
Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, EIT/FE, 1–4 years of geotechnical design experience, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or FE certification with interest in licensure
Responsibilities
- Execute geo-structural engineering tasks and provide design support for deep foundations and retaining structures
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and reports under supervision
- Perform finite element and limit equilibrium analyses for soils and slopes
- Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and construction teams across North America
- Contribute to pre-construction geotechnical investigations and design documentation
- Occasional site visits to project locations
