Google Inc. in Seattle, WA, USA is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the Geo Software Development Acceleration Team.

You will guide a group of engineers across multiple sites, shaping technical strategy and delivery for large-scale infrastructure and AI-enabled developer tooling. You will foster engineering excellence, mentor leaders, collaborate with product teams, and drive initiatives across information retrieval, AI, and ADAS-related platforms to accelerate innovation and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or related compute/storage/hardware.
5 years in a people management or team leadership role.
Experience with ML, Generative AI, RL, or LLMs.

Responsibilities

Lead a global engineering org and set strategy for the Geo Software Development Acceleration Team.
Mentor engineers across multiple sites and oversee large-scale projects.
Drive technical strategy to improve developer velocity and tooling for OEMs and auto ecosystems.
Champion integration of Generative AI/LLMs into developer workflows and testing.
Collaborate with product leaders and external partners to co-develop solutions.
