Job summary

Genworth offers a hybrid summer IT Development Program Intern in Richmond, VA, a 10-12 week experience with real-world exposure to IT leadership and meaningful work that supports caregivers and quality care resources.

You will be placed in core IT teams—application development, client/server systems, programming languages, web development, system integration, data science, and project management—and attend on-site technical and professional development classes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in CS, systems, EE, IS, or math.
• Strong academics; GPA 3.2+ preferred.
• Analytical thinking and effective communication.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with multiple programming languages is advantageous.

Must have:

• We are looking for students currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer, Systems, or Electrical Engineering, Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics.

Successful rising seniors may have the opportunity to interview for our full-time IT Development Program after the internship. The role offers a hiring rate of $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, may be eligible for a bonus incentive plan, and we do not sponsor new work authorization for this position.
